Why choose The INS Group?

The INS Group was established in 1984 as the Illawarra Nursing Service. We are one of the oldest care providers and the only nurse on-call emergency response provider in Australia.

We have substantial experience in providing health care services in the community, as well as eHealth, TeleHealth and accompanying assistive technologies.

Our products are designed to offer a wide range of solutions to meet your needs, from easy to install domestic units to fully integrated telecare and telehealth systems for villages and housing organisations across Australia.

INS LifeGuard Services

We supply both in-home and mobile alarm systems that are monitored by nurses and other healthcare professionals which allows individuals to remain independent and safe.

Medical events are handled by nurses whose qualifications and clinical knowledge are far greater than the first aid attendants commonly used in the industry.

INS LifeGuard offers a chat line for the lonely or socially isolated and a health information line. We also offer medication prompts for those who need help remembering to take medication on time, and appointment or other reminders as well.

Our nurses are available at any time for information or support and can interact with the client’s GP or other primary care professionals, we also conduct welfare checks, e.g. for those returning home from the hospital or who may be ill, just to make sure everything is alright.

INS LifeGuard services are accessed by seniors, lone workers, carers, providers, NDIS participants, retirement villages, DVA as well as community and aged care organisations.

INS CareCall Services

Supplies emergency response equipment and services, including hardware manufactured by Chiptech, Smart-Caller, SmartLink and the LifeGuard L-Series diallers. Monitoring services are provided through INS LifeGuard’s Emergency Response Centre, which is staffed by healthcare professionals.

INS is dedicated to delivering quality care to support people living at home. With the press of a button, you are immediately connected to a healthcare professional who can provide immediate assistance — whether that means contacting a family member, friend or neighbour, or sending an ambulance, the police or the fire brigade.
